1. Choosing the Right Coaxial Cables and Connectors
2. Ensure all coaxial connector components are ready
3. Cut the coaxial cable to the required length
4. According to the actual situation, install heat shrinkable tube, metal ring, gasket and/or nut
5. Properly process the coaxial cable according to the specifications of the cable and coaxial connector, including cutting off the outer jacket and inner insulator to the appropriate length, and stripping the outer shield and armor from the center conductor
6. Prepare and assemble coaxial cable center conductor and coaxial connector center pin by press-fit connection, welding, press-fit, press-through, etc., or otherwise
7. Prepare and assemble the coaxial cable shield (outer conductor) and the coaxial connector shell by press-fit connection, welding, winding, etc., which may include placing a ferrule or crimp ring around the coaxial cable or connector after assembling the connector body with the coaxial cable.
8. Ensure that the coaxial connector housing has been properly inserted into the coaxial cable by fastening, press-fitting or other means, using any suitable sealing gasket or material
9. Use of heat shrinkable tubing or other mechanical strain relief devices that may be attached to or otherwise assembled from coaxial connectors
